From Red Rocks to Glaciers: Southern Utah & Alaska Through the Lens. EXHIBIT DATES: June 5 - August 14, 2026, Mon - Fri 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., excluding campus holidays. Located at the Sears Art Museum within the Eccles Fine Arts Center. This exhibition explores the dynamic interplay of the iconic landscapes of Southern Utah's red rock and Alaska's rugged wilderness. Featuring stunning photography of Southern Utah by top regional artists alongside Tisa Zito's breathtaking Alaskan wilderness suite, this exhibit offers a visual journey through nature's extremes, celebrating the beauty of both the familiar and the remote.

Mark your calendars! The Iron Bison Invitational competition is set to take place on August 22nd at Utah Tech University. This fitness event, free for all spectators, kicks off at 8:00 AM on the North Encampment Mall, in the center of campus under the giant clock tower!*STUDENTS COMPETE FOR FREE! Reach out to get verified and receive your registration code!* Competitors should note a mandatory safety and rules meeting at 7:00 AM, prior to the start of the competition. Athletes will face four demanding challenges: the Farmer's Carry & Sled Pull, Sandbag Steeple Chase, Max Log Press, and the show-stopping Car Deadlift! Attendees can enjoy music, raffles, and a selection of local vendors. This unique St. George summer event is open to all ages and promises a fun and exciting day for strength sport fans, students, and anyone looking for entertainment.
